Finding the Entrance
Enter through the City Hall entrance on the west side of the Cherokee County Courthouse.
From there, proceed to the City Council Chambers.
Look for posted Victims’ Voices signs upon arrival.
When to Arrive
Please arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow time for sign-in and to ensure the panel begins promptly.
Cost
The attendance fee is $75.
Payment is accepted by cash or money order, made payable to Victims’ Voices.

What to Expect
During the Victim Impact Panel, participants hear directly from real people whose lives have been permanently affected by impaired driving. As a result, attendees gain a clear understanding of the real-world consequences of DUI and related offenses. The panel encourages accountability, builds awareness, and supports safer decision-making moving forward.
Court & License Compliance
This program is classified as a Victim Impact Panel (VIP).
Victims’ Voices is certified by the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council and approved under Oklahoma state law. Therefore, this Tahlequah VIP is routinely accepted and referred by Cherokee County courts, surrounding county courts, and tribal courts throughout Oklahoma..
Completion may be required for:
- DUI
- APC
- Possession charges
- Probation or court-ordered education
- Driver’s license reinstatement through Service Oklahoma
After completion, participants receive a certificate of attendance.
Provide copies to the court clerk, probation officer, attorney, or ADSAC/DUI assessor as required. Always keep the original for your records.
